She had taken her daughter’s new car to Trader Joe’s and loaded everything into the wrong vehicle without realizing it! The best part? The daughter woke up at 3 a.m. in a different time zone, opened the Annapolis Moms Facebook Group, and found the post about her mom! She was incredibly grateful to the woman who returned the groceries—and Trader Joe’s even gave Grandma a beautiful bouquet because she was so embarrassed. She joked that she’ll probably be making baked goods for her grocery-saving good Samaritan. Talk about a full-circle Annapolis Moms moment!
“These First Responders Saved My Son’s Life”
One South County mom was desperate to find the first responders who saved her son’s life so she could thank them. The sweetest response came from the 911 call taker who remembered the call and shared how meaningful it was to hear that the little boy was okay. Other moms helped identify Station 40, with one suggesting that sending prepared food to the station would be a wonderful way to show appreciation. A beautiful reminder of how many people are working behind the scenes when a family is having its worst day.

One mom discovered she owns more than 90 pairs of underwear and had to ask: Is that completely excessive, or are other moms secretly in the same boat? Naturally, the comments became a fascinating peek into everyone’s laundry habits.

The family has been displaced since April, and while everyone survived, the emotional aftermath has been significant, especially for her children.
