We hope you already get our weekly e-mail newsletters, but if not, please sign up to receive our main newsletter on Tuesdays and What to Eat Wednesday on Wednesdays. In the main newsletter, you’ll receive articles (all written by locals!) giving you all the info about local events and festivals, as well as thoughtful content like parenting advice, self-care tips, and profiles on local women and organizations making a difference!

In What to Eat Wednesday, we give you bite-sized updates in Local Food Finds, and since we have so much love for local restaurants and home cooks (including our very own community members!), we collaborate each week to feature a recipe, cooking tips, or whatever creative cooking content the chef wants to share with us!

The Motherlode

Our quarterly magazine, where we share all the best events, entertainment, and businesses for families in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Here you will find lists of top-notch restaurants, shops, services, and local contractors who have all been vetted by YOU, the members of our Annapolis Moms community.

Access the digital version via this link!

Important informatio

Important information below for parents from our community supporter SP Docs regarding the recent Cyclospora outbreak:

Cyclospora: What Parents Should Know
We’d like to share some important information regarding a significant Cyclospora outbreak currently affecting Michigan and other states. While Maryland has not yet seen a similar surge, it is advisable to take precautions.

Cyclospora is a parasite that causes diarrhea, cramps, nausea, and fatigue. Due to its spherical nature, it can survive soap and water but is killed by heat. To reduce the risk of infection, please consider these guidelines:

Scrub Produce: Use a brush and significant running water to clean firm fruits and vegetables.
Berries & Leafy Greens: Berries should ideally be cooked. For lettuce, remove outer leaves and rinse the remaining head thoroughly.
Pre-cut Fruit: It is recommended to avoid purchasing pre-cut fruit at this time.

If your child develops symptoms, keep them hydrated and contact your pediatrician - especially if symptoms persist or you notice signs of dehydration.

At SPDocs, we believe informed parents make empowered decisions for their families. If you’re looking for a pediatrician who combines thoughtful guidance with personalized care, we’d love to welcome your family. Contact SPDocs to learn more.
