The Library
We’ve already detailed the amazing things the library has for kids and teens, but that doesn’t mean it’s not great for grown-ups, too! The library is a quiet and safe environment with plenty of seating and computer access. Wi-Fi and parking are both free. Some locations have vending machines, but otherwise you won’t feel tempted to spend money like you might when working at a coffee shop.

The Hub at Bread and Butter Kitchen
Bread and Butter Kitchen is a beloved member of the Eastport community. In addition to amazing food, they have The Hub. This is an event and coworking space where you can get some work done before having an iced latte with water views. On weekends, most of the tables are occupied by diners, but you can expect to see a familiar group working there during the week.

The Lounge at Fount & Flourish

On West Street, this coworking space puts you right in the heart of downtown Annapolis. The location is perfect for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to make local connections. (Also, for anyone who loves the Annapolis restaurant scene, you’re close to a lot of great lunch spots here!) The space is small and intimate. Membership options include open coworking desks called “hot seats,” reserved desks, private offices, or an executive office, depending on availability.

Regus is a large company with coworking spaces all over the world. They have the infrastructure for everyone from a small-time freelance writer (such as myself) to larger businesses. Their office space at Annapolis Town Center is open, bright, and airy. You can book a day pass to use the coworking space for $69.
