Oscar’s Coffee may be the ultimate spot to spend a summer morning in Eastport: coffee in hand, boats on the water, and a few quiet minutes to ease into the day. The coffee shop operates out of a trailer at Horn Point Harbor Marina, giving it a casual, coastal feel that fits naturally with its Eastport surroundings.
Oscar’s Coffee was created with Eastport’s community spirit in mind. The shop describes itself as a neighborhood gathering place built around two things its owners love: good coffee and dogs. Inspired by the way dogs often help neighbors connect, Oscar’s aims to bring that same friendly, inclusive feeling to Eastport’s morning routine.
There’s no other coffee shops in the area with this kind of view and it’s no surprise how popular this spot has gotten. Whether you’re stopping by on a morning walk, catching up with a friend, or grabbing something before starting your day, the setting makes the experience feel that much more memorable.
On my visit, I tried the iced pistachio latte with oat milk, and it did not disappoint. The drink was smooth, creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of pistachio. It felt like a treat without being too heavy and I may have slurped it down in record time. It was a super refreshing drink for a humid summer morning.
The menu has plenty more worth exploring. The Bees Knees latte brings together honey, cinnamon and vanilla flavors, while the pancake latte leans into cozy notes of vanilla, maple and cinnamon. For coffee purists, Oscar’s also offers a strong lineup of classics, including cold brew, cortados, americanos, cappuccinos, lattes and macchiatos.
Tea drinkers have options, too, with flavors ranging from matcha and chai to black tea and London fog. We’re especially excited to go back and try the summer refresher, made with blood orange hibiscus tea, lemonade and coconut syrup. Refreshers are everywhere right now, and this one sounds like the perfect waterfront sip. Other seasonal flavors include the orange baklava latte, cherry blossom latte and coconut latte.
And if you’re looking for a bite with your drink, Oscar’s also has bagels available, making it an easy stop for a light breakfast or midmorning snack.
My verdict? Oscar’s is just a great little summer morning hang. You get your coffee, post up by the water, watch the boats do their thing, and let the caffeine kick in at its own pace. The iced pistachio latte I got was absolutely worth the trip, but the best part was the whole vibe: calm, sunny, low-key, and exactly what you want before the day gets busy.
