  1. Baltimore’s Christmas Village Returns Bigger Than Ever

Baltimore’s beloved Christmas Village is back at the Inner Harbor with its largest footprint yet—expanding into Bicentennial Plaza and connecting to the Visitor Center. New this year: a classic carousel beside the 65-foot Ferris Wheel, Santa photos (with pet-friendly hours), Belgian Glühbier, Rosé Glühwein by the bottle, and a Festival of Trees benefiting the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Preview Weekend runs Nov. 22–23; the market operates Nov. 27–Dec. 24 with weekday free tent admission and hours generally noon–8/9 p.m. across West Shore Park and the promenade.

The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Tactical Response Unit arrested a 37-year-old Pasadena man on a probation-violation warrant after a brief barricade situation in the 1600 block of Twickenham Road; the subject was taken into custody without injuries and faces additional charges.

Annapolis Police are investigating shots fired near Frederick Douglass Street; officers responded, collected evidence, and reported no injuries while canvassing the area. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives as the case remains active.

The community supporter Youth Chorus of Annapolis is inviting local students to find their spotlight at an upcoming Open House on April 28th! 🎤✨ Whether a child has been singing since they could talk or is simply looking to try something new, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet the directors, participate in fun musical activities, and experience the joy of singing in harmony. 🌟

🕒 Open House Schedule:
🟡 Training (Grades 1–4): 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🔴 Treble (Grades 5–7): 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
⚫ Chambers (Grades 8–12): 7:15 PM – 8:30 PM
