Take in the Views at Gambrill State Park
Gambrill State Park offers miles of wooded trails and panoramic views from the ridge of Catoctin Mountain.
The park is divided into two main areas: High Knob and Rock Run. High Knob rises approximately 1,600 feet and includes scenic overlooks with views of the Frederick and Middletown valleys and the northern Shenandoah Mountains.

Current general admission is listed as $20.50 for children ages 3-12 and $29.50 for adults ages 13-64, before tax. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted free. The preserve’s website currently lists daily hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with final admission at 4 p.m. Prices and schedules are subject to change.

Spend the Day at Adventure Park USA
Adventure Park USA combines indoor and outdoor entertainment in one family-friendly destination near Frederick.
