- Need a sub to go with your beer? Look no further! Liquor Mart & Deli is a family run and managed business since 1980, and like their name suggests, they have a deli counter where you can order a sub while shopping for the latest beer, wine, and spirits. Favorite subs include the Italian cold cut (prosciuttini ham, cooked salami, genoa salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions, oil & vinegar, garlic, oregano, and hot peppers) and turkey club (turkey breast, bacon American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise). Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2:45 pm. Pro tips:
- You don’t have to purchase from the liquor mart to buy a sandwich.
- They make party platters with a 24 hours’ notice.
- AYCE (All-You-Can-Eat) Alert! Basmati Indian Cuisine is a family-owned restaurant that offers an extensive AYCE Indian buffet for $15.95. The buffet satisfies all kinds of taste buds, both spicy and sweet, with several vegetarian and vegan options. Highlights from the buffet include the chai, naan, chana masala, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, and desserts like gulab jamun and kheer rice pudding. If you like mango, be sure to order the mango lassi! The AYCE buffet is open Monday through Sunday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
- Are you Team Flats or Team Drumsticks? There’s only one right answer and that is Team Flats (just kidding!) Thursdays call for $1 wings at URBurger, with a minimum order of 8. Their wings are smoked fresh in their wood fired smoker daily then flash fried to order and tossed in UR favorite sauce. There are eight flavors to choose from – a fan favorite is the honey old bay.
- Cookie’s Kitchen in Pasadena has been a staple in the community for over 38 years and checks off the 3 G’s: good food, good prices, and great staff! Stop by (you can’t miss the Statue of Liberty outside) and enjoy a home-cooked meal, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Highlights include their homemade sausage gravy and biscuits, and rotating dinner specials. This week’s specials for dine-in are:
- Wednesday = chicken and dumplings
- Thursday = crab cake with two vegetables
- Friday = soft crab platter with two vegetables AND half price hamburgers
- Yes, you can cook that! Fresh Market in Annapolis offers $25 Little Big Meals, which are fresh, easy, and affordable meals. From June 19-25, choose a schnitzel or shrimp pesto pasta meal. Meals come with all the ingredients to create a main and side dishes to serve four (or yourself, with leftovers).
