We’re back to give you the lowdown on Annapolis child care. If you read our previous article with tips, tricks, and professional advice, you know that choosing a caregiver for your child isn’t as easy as dropping them off at Grandma’s. (And even those of us who can use free grandparent daycare know that means our kiddo gets cartoons and cookies all day!)
Here’s a list of places to begin your search. We include nanny agencies, au pair agencies, and daycare centers. We only included daycare centers that accept infants (typically starting at six weeks). We did not include home daycares because you would have to scroll forever. But the ChildCCMD.org website is a great place to start for home daycares near you.

We’ve put together a list of centers—directly from CheckCCMD.org—organized by town. We include their websites, hours, and program ages. All of them accept children as young as six weeks old, but as mentioned in my previous post, daycares keep their prices close to the vest. If they have a link with tuition rates, we included that, too.

Other Places to Find Care
Of course, you can do the job just fine on your own. If you want to look for a caregiver or get more advice, there are plenty of websites to try. First, check out the Annapolis Moms or the Childcare Around Anne Arundel County Facebook groups to see what other moms recommend. And you can use Care.com or Sittercity to tailor your job post yourself and find a good candidate.
Take a deep breath (and another…and another) because you’ve got this. Now that you have all the information in front of you, you can choose what to do next. Trust your instincts. No one knows your family better than you. We might not be able to call The Baby-Sitters Club anymore, but your little ones will be in good hands.
