There’s a new bakery in town that’s already drawing a crowd. Paris Baguette has officially opened off Riva Road, bringing its global café concept to Anne Arundel County. With more locations popping up across the DMV (and another on the way in Crofton), it’s quickly becoming a go-to spot for both quick treats and casual work sessions.

The experience starts the moment you walk in: grab a tray and tongs, then browse rows of fresh pastries behind glass cases. Once you’ve made your picks, staff box everything up at the counter. It’s simple, efficient, and a little dangerous if you go in hungry.
On a recent visit, a chocolate supreme croissant delivered rich, flaky perfection, while a berry tart struck a nice balance between sweet and fresh. A standout surprise was the Korean grilled cheese, featuring Korean-flavored roast beef and melty cheese on fresh sourdough. It’s savory, indulgent, and worth seeking out.
The Nutella latte might have been the real star. It still tasted like coffee, but with a decadent, dessert-like twist that needed to be gulped down (and maybe ask for another for the ride home).

Everything is made fresh daily, and the space itself adds to the appeal. With outlets built into seating and plenty of room to spread out, it’s definitely a spot where you can linger. Expect to see laptops open and coffee refills happening.
Already planning a return? Same. Next on the list for us to try: the croissant donut with Nutella, milk and cereal frappé, and a chocolate hazelnut cruffin.
