It’s the premier social season for all the foodies! Annapolis Restaurant Week (February 21 through March 1) is back, and it’s the perfect excuse to focus on the small businesses and local restaurants that keep our families fed and our neighborhoods thriving.
Some people train for marathons. We train for prix fixe menus. Select restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus, seeing a two-course breakfast priced between $13.95 and $19.95, a two-course lunch for anywhere from $15.95 to $22.95, or a three-course dinner, ranging from $29.95 to $45.95, all when dining in. Many spots will also feature bonus courses, cocktail specials and wine promotions throughout the week.
As we eat our way through Annapolis this week, here are eight participating spots at the top of our list:
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant
Nestled in the Annapolis Town Center, reservations are heavily recommended. They will be participating in lunch and dinner with lunch specials we can’t wait to try out. Be sure to ask them about their amazing wine program. With private and semi-private dining options, it’s an easy pick for a group night out.
Federal House Bar & Grill
An Annapolis Moms community supporter, Federal House will be serving up lunch and dinner specials for ARW. Their Cherry BBQ NY Strip is already calling our name! We love this downtown staple!
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
New to ARW, Firebirds is the perfect spot for a date night out. Unsurprisingly, based on their name, this restaurant off Riva Road makes almost all of their food on an open flame. They will be serving up a 3-course dinner for $40. Creme Brulee Cheesecake? Count us in!
Julep Kitchen & Bar
Bringing Southern flavor to the Northeast, Julep is participating in lunch for $22.95 and dinner for $37.99, with gluten-free options and allergen-friendly dishes. Check out their specials! We can’t recommend their Blackberry Chipotle Glazed Thighs enough! Call ahead for priority seating. We love having Julep as an Annapolis Moms community supporter!
Main & Market Cafe
If you’re looking for breakfast for restaurant week, we know the perfect place. Main & Market has their breakfast specials for $15.95 and lunch specials for $19.95. We need to try those egg and cheese sliders!
Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge
One of our favorite spots on West Street, Metropolitan will be participating in the dinner special, while also offering a Wednesday discount on wine bottles, coupled with an open mic night. They also will have an all-night happy hour on Tuesday. Call 410-280-5160 for their ARW menu for dinner.
Rumhouse
Participating in dinner and Sunday brunch, Rumhouse features vegetarian and gluten-free options, private dining and wine specials on Wednesdays. Call 410-469-2500 for their ARW menu for dinner and Sunday brunch.
Seasalt
Joining ARW with a dinner special for $44.95, Seasalt also offers private and semi-private dining options for larger groups. They will be serving up their famous salty bread and butter, an Ōra King salmon entrée, and chocolate cake to wash it all down.
The Full Annapolis Restaurant Week Lineup
In addition to our favorites, here are some additional favorites that we recommend. For the full list, and all the different ARW menus, visit Annapolis Downtown Partnership’s webpage.
With a motto of, “Real Local. Real Italian. The Real Cafe Mezz”, this restaurant prides itself on the local sourcing of ingredients to put together authentic Italian cuisine. They will be participating in the dinner special.
Combining Maryland seafood specialities with enticing French country cuisine, Cafe Normandie has been serving Annapolitans for over 40 years. Participating in the lunch and dinner deals, almost all of the dishes can be crafted to cater your dietary needs.
Light House is pulling out all the stops, creating a special ARW menu for brunch, breakfast, and lunch. This restaurant, created by the Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center, will also have daily specials throughout the week.
A popular spot in the heart of downtown, Middleton Tavern encourages reservations, but always welcomes walk-ins. They have opted into the lunch and dinner specials, with the ability to host semi-private dining for larger groups.
Serving up authentic Mexican, Latin, and Mayan-inspired food, this spot will be participating in the dinner specials for ARW. Call 410-571-0500 for their ARW menu for dinner and to make reservations.
A Maryland icon, this restaurant will be taking part in the brunch, breakfast and lunch deals. They will also have a bonus cocktail deal.
O’Brien’s Oyster Bar & Seafood Tavern
Serving up lunch and dinner for ARW, they have created specialty menus for the week. With additional seasonal specials, they also offer private and semi-private dining options.
Paul’s has it all for ARW, participating in the lunch and dinner menus. This Annapolis staple also will also have bonus deals, gluten-free and vegetarian options, and wine bottle Wednesday specials.
Participating in lunch and dinner for ARW, Severn Inn offers a beautiful view of the water while dining. With space for groups, private and semi-private events, it should be noted that during Sunday brunch, the ARW menu and deal will not be in effect.
So, whether you’re looking to get out for a date night, hit the town with some friends, or get together with family, Annapolis Restaurant Week creates the perfect environment to make great memories and try new food (or indulge in favorites), all while supporting our local businesses.
