The final canvass is not expected to change the results and will be completed on November 12, 2025 at which time the election will be certified.

  1. EDITORIAL: Stuck On Stupid!

In the sharply worded editorial “Stuck on Stupid,” Eye On Annapolis publisher John Frenaye argues Annapolis Republicans turned the 2025 city election into another self-inflicted rout by running culturally far-right campaigns in a deep-blue city, focusing on national talking points instead of local issues like flooding, traffic, and permitting, starting late, mishandling signs, and even fixating on a minor MVA paperwork glitch. He says if the GOP wants to compete, it must understand how Annapolis voters actually think, talk to Democrats and independents, show up year-round, and treat city races as local contests rather than cable-news auditions.

  1. An Exit Interview with Outgoing Annapolis Mayor, Gavin Buckley

The “Exit Interview With Annapolis Mayor, Gavin Buckley” features a candid, hour-long conversation in which Buckley looks back on his two terms as mayor, discussing City Dock redevelopment, economic revitalization, and how the city navigated crises like the Capital Gazette shooting, the COVID-19 pandemic, and chronic flooding. He defends the urgency of waterfront resilience projects, reflects on successes and frustrations with permitting and public art, jokes at his own expense, and says he’s ready for private life while still hinting at future involvement in economic development and praising Maryland’s bipartisan approach as a model for the rest of the country.

  1. Annapolis Lowers Garage Fines, Offers Some Free Parking for Holidays

Annapolis officials have announced downtown parking changes, including cutting the Mills-Hillman Garage violation fee from $50 to $33.50, simplifying resident promo codes for two hours of limited free garage parking during the holidays, and offering two free hours at meters from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. The resolution also freezes Mills-Hillman rates for the current fiscal year and extends outdoor dining and parklets in Market Space through 2026, aiming to support downtown businesses while making it easier and cheaper for residents and visitors to park.

Okay, moms… who el

Okay, moms… who else is ready for a little skin refresh? ✨🙋‍♀️

Between the kids, work, errands, soccer practice, and ALL the things… sometimes our skin could use a little TLC, too. 💕

Microneedling is a popular treatment that supports your skin’s natural collagen production and can help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, and acne scars.

And if you’ve been thinking about trying it, ProMD has a pretty great new patient offer right now:

✨ ONE treatment: $175
✨ TWO treatments: $325

So maybe this is your sign to do something for you. Because taking care of everyone else is kind of your thing… but taking care of YOU should be on the list, too. 😉

💗 New patients welcome
