A 7-year-old boy tragically died in a hit-and-run incident on I-97 in Anne Arundel County after falling from a vehicle. Authorities are searching for a 2016-2019 Honda Civic with potential front left wheel well damage. Witnesses are urged to contact the Maryland State Police, Glen Burnie Barrack.

2. Vince Leggett, Blacks of the Chesapeake Founder, Passes Away at 71

Vincent Omar Leggett, founder of the Blacks of the Chesapeake Foundation, passed away at 71. A dedicated historian and environmental advocate, Leggett was instrumental in preserving African American maritime history in the Chesapeake Bay region. His notable achievements include establishing the Elktonia-Carr’s Beach Heritage Park in Annapolis.

3. Annapolis’ Midnight Madness Offers Festive Shopping and Entertainment

Annapolis’ annual Midnight Madness returns on December 5 and 12, with stores and restaurants open until midnight, and on December 19, the Eleventh Hour, with extended hours until 11 pm. The downtown area will feature holiday decorations, live performances, and special deals, making it a top holiday destination.

4. Navy Football Reveals 2024 Army-Navy Game Uniforms Honoring Jolly Rogers Squadron

The U.S. Naval Academy has unveiled its 2024 football uniforms for the Army-Navy Game, honoring the Jolly Rogers aviation unit. The design features a dark navy cowl, skull-and-crossbones insignia, and elements reflecting the squadron’s aircraft tail design.
