Kid’s Corner at the Museum
Visit the Museum of Historic Annapolis all throughout August to explore our Kid’s Corner! Take a break from the summer heat!
Each week, visitors can create a unique craft activity, enjoy a specially-curated selection of books in our Anne Arundel County Public Library Book Nook, and take a scavenger hunt in the Museum to learn more about the history of Annapolis, with a new theme each week!
August 1st – 5th: Learn about Native Americans in the Chesapeake Bay region
August 8th – 12th: Learn about people in Colonial Annapolis and how they lived, worked, and played
August 15th – 19th: Learn all about the Chesapeake Bay
August 22nd – September 2nd: Learn about the Civil Rights Movement
Activities are offered during regular museum hours, and included with admission. Register for the Kid’s Corner at the Museum here!
Museum Hours:
Thursday – Monday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Cost: $7 general admission (8+); free for HA Members, Blue Star Families, SNAP/WIC recipients, and children seven and under
