The Annapolis Chocolate Binge Festival will be held this year on Saturday, December 3, just north of Church Circle on West Street. The festival, which celebrates chocolate in more forms than imaginable, offers a wonderful day to indulge your sweet tooth while finding lots of original gifts for loved ones in the process.
Held annually on the first block of West Street, the Chocolate Binge Festival brings together all the area’s confectionary artisans. Coco Couture, Wark Barnaby Chocolate, Annapolis Chocolate Bar, and dozens of other vendors will bring everything from macarons to fondue kits to West Street for an incredible day. Also look for handmade ornaments, jewelry, clothing, pottery, candles, and all the wonderful exhibitors that make the area’s First Sunday Arts Festivals so rich.
Beyond the sweet treats, there will be a gingerbread house moon bounce (for kids), marshmallow roasting pits, and the Annapolis Police Department in their customized Airstream trailer handing out Cocoa with the Cops. Visit Annapolis will be showcasing entrants in their Gingerbread Decorating Contest, while FinArt Gallery will be demonstrating the art of edible pointillism with live painting of a giant chocolate bar.
The Festival runs from 11am to 4pm, with street entertainers, vendors, and plenty of fun for kids. Tickets are just $5 and as the festival is likely to sell out, pre-registration is encouraged.
