Annapolis Moms Thrive in a Year of Challenges and Triumphs

This has been quite a year for us moms. We’ve seen record high divorce and childhood depression and anxiety, and we’ve also seen the great things that have happened when we’ve come together to raise money through Friends of Annapolis Moms for our fellow moms in need. We’ve all laughed, cried, and cared for one another throughout the year. We’ve recommended thousands of businesses, therapists, and doctors to each other, and we’ve helped to figure out everything from how to take out the smell of vomit from a hot car to how to get a dress hemmed for a wedding in less than 24 hours! Annapolis Moms was here for all of it. And this coming year we are working hard to make sure our community is stronger than ever.

We have been working tirelessly this past year, bringing you the best and most relevant content that affects our moms in Annapolis and beyond – mental health issues, covering great events, and showcasing our local business owners. At the same time, you’ve watched us grow with a website, 3 newsletters, and our Instagram. Whatever we do, we always keep our moms in mind, and we are continuing to bring you more great information in a variety of ways. This coming year is extra special. We are very excited to share with you the first edition of The Motherlode on January 2, 2024. What’s The Motherlode?! It is a magazine tailored for our moms: articles and resources we created with Annapolis families in mind, companies you recommended in the group, all the 2024 Summer Camp info, and more! So next week you will not be receiving our typical newsletter on Tuesday. Instead, you will be receiving your digital copy of The Motherlode! We hope you love it!

With big hearts, here’s to a wonderful new year! We’re thrilled to be sharing this journey with you.
