Six Annapolis Inc. 5000 companies are getting national recognition in 2026, highlighting the growing diversity of the city’s private-sector economy.
Annapolis may be best known for government, tourism and its maritime economy, but the annual Inc. 5000 list shows that businesses in finance, infrastructure, digital marketing, cybersecurity and technology are also finding significant growth here.
Meet the 2026 Annapolis Inc. 5000 Companies
This year’s Annapolis honorees are:
- MDRN Capital: No. 371
- Precision Infrastructure Management: No. 546
- Intrinsic Digital: No. 1,373
- CyKor: No. 2,478
- Blackwood: No. 3,010
- RedZone Technologies: No. 4,426
Three names are familiar from the 2025 list. MDRN Capital, Intrinsic Digital and Blackwood earned spots again this year, while Precision Infrastructure Management, CyKor and RedZone Technologies joined the Annapolis lineup.
MDRN Capital Jumps Nearly 400 Spots
MDRN Capital had an especially impressive year. The Annapolis-based retirement planning and investment management company climbed from No. 766 in 2025 to No. 371 in 2026.
Its three-year revenue growth increased from 548% on last year’s ranking to 946% this year, placing it among the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the country.
Anne Arundel County’s Growing Business Presence
The Annapolis results are part of a larger Maryland success story. 120 Maryland companies made the 2026 Inc. 5000, with a median three-year growth rate of 116%. Nine ranked among the country’s top 500.
Anne Arundel County had the third-highest number of Inc. 5000 honorees in Maryland, behind Montgomery and Howard counties.
For Annapolis, the variety of businesses may be just as noteworthy as the rankings. The six Annapolis Inc. 5000 companies demonstrate that local businesses are finding growth opportunities in national markets, federal contracting, technology, infrastructure and digitally delivered services.
