New fall menus, cozy comfort food and fresh breakfast spots are giving us plenty of reasons to eat out in Annapolis this season.
Annapolis restaurants are shaking things up! From hearty brunch dishes to new coffee shops and budget-friendly dinners, there’s something new to try around town. Whether you’re planning a date night, catching up with friends or just looking for an excuse to skip cooking, here are five local spots serving up something fresh this fall.
Iron Rooster Rolls Out a Hearty Fall Menu
Iron Rooster is leaning into comfort food this season, and we’re here for it.
The downtown Annapolis restaurant has introduced a fall menu featuring a Brisket Hash Skillet that arrives sizzling at the table, Blackened Salmon Hash, and house-made hush puppies served with chipotle aioli.
There are also new shareable appetizers, including Iron Queso and Fried Mozzarella, plus cozy seasonal drinks and desserts.
If you’ve been looking for an excuse to plan a fall brunch downtown, this might be it.

Storm Bros. Is Brewing Up Something New
We’ve loved Storm Bros. for ice cream for nearly 50 years, but now they’re giving us a reason to stop by before dessert!
The longtime City Dock favorite has added Storm’s a Brewing, a new coffee and breakfast concept serving coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and other breakfast options at the front of its ice cream shop.
The expansion is also a way to help the family-owned business weather the ongoing City Dock construction and help with the gap from losing Bitty & Beau’s back in September.
Consider this your reminder to support our downtown businesses. Coffee in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon? We’re not judging.

Miss Shirley’s Café Brings Back Fall Comfort Food
If your idea of fall involves cozy brunches and something sweet, Miss Shirley’s has you covered.
Its new fall menu debuted in October, bringing plenty of seasonal comfort food to the table. New dishes include Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs, a Loaded Potato Skillet and S’mores Donuts topped with marshmallow cream and chocolate sauce.
There are lighter options, too, like the Vegan Harvest Salad, plus seasonal drinks including the Caramel Cider Crush and Apple Ginger Fizz mocktail.
Honestly, we had you at S’mores Donuts.
InGrano Adds a Morning Café
West Annapolis is getting another reason to wake up early! InGrano has expanded its offerings with a new morning café, featuring coffee, fresh pastries and a growing breakfast menu. The café soft-opened October 25, with a newly designed lounge where you can settle in with your morning cup of coffee.
The new café at 17 Annapolis Street is open daily from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Whether you’re grabbing something on the go or enjoying a slower morning, it’s worth adding to your breakfast rotation.
Firebirds Introduces a $19.95 Early Dining Menu
Between school pickups, sports practices and homework, finding time to make dinner can be a challenge. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill has a new option for those evenings when cooking just isn’t happening.
The restaurant launched an Early Dining Menu in September, featuring a selection of its signature wood-fired dishes for $19.95 per person.
The special is available Monday through Thursday from 3–5 p.m., making it a convenient option for an early dinner before evening activities.
Location: Beacon Square, across from Annapolis Town Center
From fresh pastries to sizzling skillets, Annapolis restaurants are giving us plenty of delicious reasons to get out this fall.
