Fireworks, fishing, and freestyle! Whether you want to be traditional and catch one of the many fireworks displays, catch a fish, or swim like one, there are a range of things to do on or around the 4th that will appeal to everyone!
Did you know that the Department of Natural Resources allows for license-free fishing on the 4th of July? This is the perfect time to see if angling is your new hobby. Don’t have the gear? You can “check out” a fishing pole for up to three weeks at the following AACPL Libraries:
