Annapolis’ celebration of Pride kicks off with the Annapolis Pride Parade and Festival, Saturday June 1, in Downtown Annapolis. Celebrate and Support Annapolis’ LGBTQ+ community!
Annapolis is coming together for another year to celebrate LGBTQIA Pride! The month-long celebration kicks off with a joyful and vibrant parade down Main Street in Downtown Annapolis. Rooted in the theme “Anchored with Pride” the parade aims to celebrate the diverse love within Annapolis. The parade starts at City Dock, moves up Main Street, merges in West Street and ends at Maryland Hall. This can’t-miss event is complete with a float contest, concerts, and other entertainments.
Floats decorated by numerous organizations and participants will be judged on overall appearance, originality, creativity, craftsmanship, parade theme, and music. These floats are sure to be colorful, exciting, and a visual celebration of love!
Celebrity appearances include luxury fashion designer Christian Siriano, and singer L. Rodgers, as seen on The Voice on Team Reba! These are just some appearances from singers you don’t want to miss! Check out the Annapolis Pride website for the full list of entertainers.
After Annapolis’ biggest and greatest parade filled with floats, performers, horses from Gentle Giant Horse Rescue and motorcycles from Off-Kiltered Riding Club, the celebrations continue with the Annapolis Pride Festival. Vendors, shops, and stage acts will be awaiting your perusal, offering new and exciting opportunities to support the LGBTQ+ community! Downtown Annapolis will blossom into a pride-filled day.
