The WNR Watch Party takes place on August 14 and August 28 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Boarding begins at 5:15 pm. This two-hour watch party will depart from the Annapolis Maritime Museum Dock.
Pro-tips:
- Wear comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle to keep cool
- Flat shoes are highly recommended and heels are not permitted
- Be sure to arrive at the Maritime Museum Dock thirty minutes before departure. There are no refunds for no-shows.
You’ll be riding aboard the historic skipjack Wilma Lee, built in 1940 and a part of the last commercial sailing fleet in the U.S. At one point, she ran into the Tilghman Island drawbridge and was dismasted. However, she survived to tell the tale and after restoration is now equipped with diesel engines, air-conditioning, and a microwave along with other modern installments.
This is a rain or shine event, but in the case of high winds or thunderstorms, you’ll be notified of a cancellation two hours prior to departure.
Get your tickets here and join the crew of the Wilma Lee for exciting races during the WNR Watch Party!
