Veterans Day weekend is coming up and lots of local and national businesses are lining up to give veterans and military members some special perks, well-deserved, we might add.

Thank you to all our active-duty military members, veterans, reservists, spouses, and families who make sacrifices every day to protect and serve this country. We hope this list will help you celebrate and enjoy the holiday weekend in your honor.

Local Restaurants

Atlas Restaurant Group – On Veterans Day, Atlas Restaurant Group (including The Choptank in Annapolis) offers a 50% discount for active military and veterans. Proof of service is required to enjoy these significant savings.

Greene Turtle – Veterans receive a free meal up to $15 with valid ID on November 11. Dine-in only.

La Posta Pizzeria – Active duty military members and veterans receive 10% off their purchase. This discount is available every day, year-round.

Mission BBQ – Veterans receive a free sandwich on November 11, all locations. 

Pit Boys – All military members, veterans, military family, and DOD receive 20% off purchase on Friday and Saturday (November 10-11) with valid ID. 

Rams Head – Veterans receive a free cup of chili on Veteran’s Day (November 11). Valid at all locations.

National Chain Restaurants*

Applebee’s  – Applebee’s invites veterans and active-duty military to enjoy a free meal from a select menu. Verification of service is required. Be sure to bring a valid Military ID or proof of service.

Bonefish Grill – Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage on November 11 with valid ID.

Buffalo Wild Wings– Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy free boneless wings and fries when dining in. A valid military ID or proof of service is required, and the offer is applicable at participating U.S. locations.

California Pizza Kitchen – Free meal to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day. Eligible members must come in uniform or present a valid military ID or other proof of service. The free entreé can be chosen from a special Veterans day menu that includes pizza, salads, and pasta.

Chevy’s – Veterans receive a free combo meal with valid ID.

Dave & Buster’s – Veterans get a free entree (up to $20) and a free $10 Power Card with a valid veterans ID card on November 11.

Dunkin’ – Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut of their choice on November 11 at participating locations. Offer available in-store only.

Fogo de Chao – Fogo de Chão offers a Veterans Day special of 50% off meals for active-duty military and veterans. They also extend a 10% discount to three guests accompanying the service member. 

IHOP– With valid military ID or proof of service, veterans can enjoy free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes. This offer is available at participating locations for dine-in only, one per guest.

Krispy Kreme – On Veterans Day, Krispy Kreme honors those who served with a free doughnut and coffee. No purchase or proof of service is necessary to benefit from this deal.

Melting Pot – Veterans dine for free on Veterans Day at the Melting Pot with the purchase of a full-priced four-course meal. Selected franchises offer this deal to military ID holders. Additionally, on Mondays, veterans – along with active personnel, retirees, spouses, and dependents – get 20% off their meal.

Olive Garden– Diners with a valid Military ID can enjoy a free entree from the restaurant’s special Veterans Day menu. 

Red Robin – Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary Red’s Big Tavern Burger on November 11 with valid ID. Dine-in only, not valid for online or to-go orders. The free meal also comes with an endless side of steak fries.

Smoothie King – Active-duty military and veterans get a free smoothie from one of three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations on November 11 with a valid ID.

Starbucks – Starbucks is honoring those who have served with a free tall (12-ounce) hot or cold brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses who visit participating U.S. stores on November 11.

Texas Roadhouse – Free dine-in or carry-out meal from a select menu to veterans. A valid Military ID or proof of service is required.

Local Retail

Anne Arundel Community College Bookstore –  Veterans receive 20% off one general merchandise item from November 6-18, 2023.

AM Group Multiservice – $30 OFF on any service of $100+ for Military/Veteran new customers and military family (spouse/child) with valid ID. Promotion valid through November 30, 2023. 

Bay Area Tire & Service –Active duty military members and veterans receive 5% off all services. This discount is available every day, year-round.

Park Books – Park Books offers a year-round military/veteran discount of 10% off purchases. 

Homestead Gardens –Active duty military members and veterans receive 10% off their purchase. This discount is available every day, year-round at all locations.

K&B True Value – Active duty military members and veterans receive 10% off their purchase. This discount is available every day, year-round at all locations.

National Chain Retail*

Goodyear Auto Service – Veterans and active-duty service members with a valid ID receive 10% off instantly and can be combined with all current offers, November 10 through 14. The “Free Car Care for Vets” promotion includes free tire, alignment, brake, fuel system, and fluid checks. Schedule an appointment by November 14 and use the discount by November 19.

Office Depot and OfficeMax – Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel, reservists, and their dependents receive 25% off qualifying regular and sale-priced purchases in stores nationwide November 11 through 13.

Rack Room Shoes – Military personnel and their dependents get a 20% discount off their entire purchase in store on November 11.

Target – Target is offering a 10% military discount from October 29 through November 11 to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families. The discount can be used on two separate transactions and applies to all in-basket items, online and in-store.

Walgreens – On November 10 through 13, veterans, active-duty military and their families receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.

TRAVEL & ENTERTAINMENT

Colonial Williamsburg – For the entire Veterans Day Weekend, November 10 through 12, active-duty military, Reservists, retirees, veterans, National Guardsmen and their immediate dependents get free admission.

Historic Annapolis – Historic Annapolis is pleased to invite veterans to visit our sites free of charge (with ID) on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Explore the Museum of Historic Annapolis (open 10 am – 2 pm) and take a tour at the William Paca House and Garden (open 10 am – 4 pm) on us! Plus, stop by Hogshead (open 11 am – 3 pm) for a free, special living history program with His Majesty’s Marines!

National Parks – On November 11, get free admission to all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom – Veterans and active-duty military personnel will be given complimentary park admission with valid military ID, November 10–12. Family members are eligible to receive $19.99 park admission (up to 4 in group). All redemptions will take place at the front gate.
