While it’s not a national holiday quite yet, the Super Bowl brings people together as much as any holiday, if not more. Friends, families, and coworkers gather to watch the matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, while some of us may just be there for the commercials or Bad Bunny’s halftime show! Whether you’re hosting the party or bringing a dish as a guest, there are plenty of opportunities to grab some good food, at a great price, in the Annapolis area. We’ve rounded up a list of deals and promos to maximize your food without overspending.
Applebee’s
Quite possibly the best bang for your buck deal on the list, Applebee’s is offering a free 20-piece order of boneless wings with any online order of $40 or more by using the code SBWINGS26. For larger groups, you can order apps, entrees, platters and more.
Buffalo Wild Wings
With a specific “Party” menu, customers can choose from a wide range of options, such as chicken wraps, potato wedges, bone-in and boneless wings, cauliflower wings, crispy chicken dippers, and more, all of which come in bulk. The “20/20 Wing Value Bundle” gives you the opportunity to order 20 bone-in and 20 boneless wings, in your choice of sauce, alongside an order of fries.
Their most notable promotion actually comes after the 60 minutes have been played. Known as “Free Wings for America”, this deal is going on its eighth year in a row. If the game goes into overtime, fans will win six free wings from Buffalo Wild Wings on February 23, from 2 to 5 PM.
Julep Kitchen
A southern-style restaurant that has quickly become an Annapolis staple, Julep has a fantastic game day offer. For $99, you will receive 25 wings, a full rack of ribs, one pound of pulled pork, one pint of coleslaw, eight slider rolls, sides of barbecue and wing sauce, along with carrots and celery. This game day spread feeds roughly six to eight people, so buy accordingly!
Ledo Pizza
For anyone planning to have a lot of hungry people in one spot, Ledo offers a special catering service. With a minimum order of $100, you can fill out their catering form. With the option to pick up your order at the store or have it delivered, you can place an order for anywhere from 25 guests to over 200! For a smaller gathering, the “Football Deal” features an 18-inch, one-topping pizza along with 12 jumbo wings for $39.99, while the “Feastival Deal” comes with two, 14-inch, one topping pizzas, a large cheesy garlic bread, and a two-liter soda.
Miller’s Ale House
Miller’s Ale House has three party boxes, sure to fit your game day needs. The “Wings Box”, priced at $69.99, boasts 50 bone-in wings, with ranch or blue cheese, and two additional sauces on the side. The “Zings Box” offers 50 Zingers (boneless tenders) with the same blue cheese/ranch and two sauce options for $79.99. Finally, the “Zings & Wings” splits the middle, offering 24 bone-in wings and 24 Zingers, with sauces, for $79.99. For those placing an order online, Miller’s is currently running a free delivery on orders of $29 or more, using the code DEL29.
Wingstop
Wasting no time, WingStop has been prepping for the Super Bowl since mid-January! Their “All-In Bundle” features 16 boneless wings, six tenders, large fries, and up to four dipping sauces of your choice. Looking to hit your protein goals? The “Protein Pack” comes with 16 classic bone-in wings with veggie sticks, two dips and two drinks. Maybe you’re hosting; the “100 Piece Pack” offers 100 boneless or bone-in wings, four large fries, four veggie sticks, and up to eight sauces. The group packs range in sizes from 24 to 100, feeding anywhere from four to 13 people.
Let’s not forget about the important details too. Make sure you place your order with plenty of time to spare. You’re probably not the only person ordering that day! Having your order delivered? The drivers will be working overtime for sure with more orders than usual and dealing with long wait times at the restaurants. Make sure to be kind and tip generously. Even if you order early, be prepared for the chance of longer wait times. Finally, make sure you’re aware of any dietary restrictions your guests may have so that everyone can enjoy a bite to eat and something to drink!
