Ski Haus Returns with a New Annapolis Location

July 7, 2026 by Tyler Ingle

A longtime local favorite has returned to Annapolis, bringing back a familiar name for families, athletes and outdoor enthusiasts across the area.

Ski Haus Sports Center, once a staple along Route 50 near the Bay Bridge, is now open on Bestgate Road in Annapolis. And despite what the name may suggest, the shop offers far more than ski and snow gear. From beach and surf essentials to bikes, skateboards, shoes and winter sports equipment, Ski Haus is stocked for year-round adventures.

With school out and summer in full swing, families can stop in for beach-day essentials, including sandals, swimwear, sunglasses, beach bags, towels and more. The shop also carries watersports apparel, including wetsuits, for those planning time on the bay, at the beach or out on the water.

For everyday outdoor fun closer to home, Ski Haus also offers shoes, skateboards and bikes, making it a convenient stop for neighborhood rides, park days and summer activities with friends.

Of course, winter sports remain a major part of the Ski Haus experience. The shop carries gloves, mittens, ski pants, ski jackets, goggles, hats and other cold-weather gear to help customers get ready for the slopes. Skiers and snowboarders can also find snowboards, skis, boots, bindings and backpacks, with sale items available for those looking to gear up ahead of the season.

Ski Haus also offers winter sports rentals, including ski and snowboard packages for two to five days. Rental packages range from $55 to $150 per person, and reservations are recommended one to two weeks before a trip. Additional services include junior ski trade-ins, bike repairs, ski and snowboard repairs, other equipment rentals and a swap program featuring discounted used gear.

Ski Haus Sports Center is open six days a week at its new Bestgate Road location. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The shop is closed Wednesdays.

With gear for the beach, the slopes and everything in between, Ski Haus is once again giving Annapolis families a local place to stock up for every season.
