Postpartum Support in Anne Arundel County for New Parents

July 22, 2025 by Jillian Amodio, LMSW

Welcoming a new baby into the world is one of the most transformative life experiences a family can navigate. The postpartum period, as well as the months leading up to the birth of a baby, often come with a wide range of emotions, questions, and needs. Whether you are expecting your first child or growing your family with another new addition, having the right support can make all the difference. We have curated a list of perinatal professionals and resources to guide you and your family through every stage of the journey.

Included in this list, you will find everything from OB-GYNs and midwifery practices for prenatal care, to soothing perinatal massage therapists, mental health professionals, and pelvic floor physical therapists to help care for your mind and body. Also included are breastfeeding and new parent support groups for additional guidance and encouragement.

No matter where you are on your parenting journey, these Anne Arundel County postpartum resources are designed to help you feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way.
