Play Place Roundup: Paid Indoor Play Around Annapolis

The ‘90s kid summer continues. And we want to maintain our ‘90s mom energy by planning our days as little as possible. Our free indoor play guide gave you a list of places where you can just roll out of bed, load up the car, and head out. This list requires just a tiny bit more mental energy ahead of time. These play places may need registration, waivers, and a paid ticket. They cost anywhere from $6 to $42, but with the price tag comes options for full-body movement, hands-on creation, and make-believe. Exercise your kids’ bodies and minds at one of these spots.

Run, Jump, Climb

These indoor play places have almost everything a kid needs to get their wiggles out: ball pits to dive in, trampolines to jump on, ropes to climb, and slides to speed down. There are gymnastics places open for tumbling and bounce houses that kids can try out. Just give them the countdown: Ready, set, go!

These spots are filled with areas for kids to use their imaginations. There are replicas of grocery stores and doctor’s offices, along with baby dolls and dress-up clothes. Toddlers and older kids will love the toys, hands-on activities, and even some live animals to visit.

A Little Different

Maybe you have older kids and teens who are too big (or too cool) for ball pits and slime. These places are ideal for some indoor fun where they can keep moving. There are arcade games that require the whole body to win prizes. Or they can try skating on wheels or on ice. The summer is full of possibilities.
