Opening Day Eats: Where to Watch Your O’s!

March 19, 2026 by Tyler Ingle

Opening Day for Major League Baseball is almost here! The Baltimore Orioles finished the 2025 season with a 75-87 record, coming last in the AL East, after making the playoffs in 2023 and 2024. With an already young core of players, the team added veteran Pete Alonso along with several younger players this offseason. The team also enters the season with a new manager, Craig Albernaz, formerly an assistant in Cleveland. With hope on the horizon, we’ve compiled a list of where you can watch the first pitch of the season in Annapolis.

Acme Bar and Grill

With a motto of “Think globally. Eat Locally!”, this Annapolis spot is a great place to watch America’s pastime while filling up on good eats. Their wings come in 19 different sauce options, giving you plenty of choices and a reason to come back. On the global scale, Acme has a special Egg Roll section on the menu, putting an American twist on an Asian staple with options like Pepperoni Egg Rolls and Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls. Of course, they have salads, sandwiches, burgers and desserts too.

Dark Horse

Open from 11 AM to 2 AM, seven days a week, for lunch, dinner, and late-night eats, Dark Horse is a great place to catch a game. Fries, onion rings, nachos, wings, and more highlight the appetizer section. Soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps are some of the classic entrees, with a unique offering of six different hot dogs along with the opportunity to create your own! Looking for a drink? Their beer and wine menu boasts over 50 different selections.

Davis’ Pub

One of the locals’ favorites, Davis’ offers daily specials along with Maryland staples like crab cakes, Baltimore-style steamed shrimp, Maryland crab soup, and crab balls. For those seeking a more substantial meal, the menu offers more than 20 entrees, sandwiches, and pub favorites, in addition to more than 14 appetizers.

Dock Street Bar & Grill

Located in downtown Annapolis, this spot is known to be the home of the best crab cakes in Annapolis. For a more elevated experience, you can start with the tuna tartare as an appetizer, or go classic with wings, crab dip or a quesadilla. They have two different salad options, a Caesar and seared tuna, with a crab and corn chowder soup. With shrimp tacos, tuna tacos, pizza, sandwiches and additional entrees, there’s plenty of choices for land and sea lovers alike.

Heroes Pub

Offering basic appetizers such as mozzarella sticks, wings, crab dip, Heroes has everything you need to have a great time. For drinks, they have 48 beers on tap. For food, they offer a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, subs, burgers, a kids’ menu, and a constantly changing dessert menu, all with daily rotating specials.

Stan & Joe’s Saloon

Touted as one of the Best Bar and Grill joints in Annapolis, Stan & Joe’s has plenty of televisions, perfect for watching not only the Orioles but all other Opening Day games! As far as food goes, their menu rivals that of a diner in length. With classic appetizers like wings and mozzarella sticks, they also offer more unique findings like crabby pretzel sticks and pierogies. With homemade soups, fresh salads, wraps, burgers and sandwiches, there’s something for everyone. Their signature meal, stogies, are twin egg rolls, stuffed and fried, offered in four different varieties.

West End Grill

There’s always something new to taste at West End, thanks to daily rotating specials! Since 2006, this family-friendly Annapolis location has catered to the sports community. The wings are available in fifteen distinct flavors, with a boatload of sandwich and burger selections, alongside Americanized tacos. On the appetizer front, West End features quesadillas, nachos, steamed shrimp, Maryland crab soup, ahi tuna bowls, fish and chips, and more. To finish things off, channel your inner kid at the fair and place an order of fried Oreos!

Putting Children Fir

Putting Children First with Arundel Mediation:

Why Mediation Beats Litigation in Custody Disputes

When parents face a high-conflict custody dispute, it easy to feel like going to court is the only way forward. But having a judge - someone who doesn't know your family - decide your children's future often leads to escalated trauma, longer timelines, and higher costs.

Mediation shifts the focus away from "who is right" toward what is truly best for your children.

Here are a few reasons why mediation is almost always the better choice for co-parents:

Protects Kids from Trauma: Litigation escalates conflict. The longer a dispute drags on, the greater the exposure to Adverse Childhood

Experiences (ACEs) for children.

Saves Time & Financial Resources: Mediation resolves disputes far faster and at a fraction of the cost of a long courtroom battle.

Higher Long-Term Success: Court-imposed orders frequently result in parents returning to court within 6 to 12 months. Mediated agreements give both parents a voice, creating sustainable parenting plans that last.

Ensures Every Voice is Heard: Mediation offers a safe space with clear boundaries, allowing both parties to speak openly without the strict constraints of courtroom evidence rules.

Before letting a courtroom determine your family's dynamic, consider taking a child-centered path that puts your kids first.
