Black Market Bakers
This local favorite opened its largest location yet on December 19, right down to the wire. Located on West Street, the menu is always rotating with a mix of scones, muffins, sourdough breads, danishes, and more. Some recent favorites include the Old Bay cheddar sourdough, French toast danish, cannoli cruffin, and s’mores bun. We can’t stop and won’t stop supporting this fast-growing local staple!
Bubbakoo’s Burritos
With a new location recently opened in Edgewater, this Mexican chain serves both classics like burritos and tacos and creative fusions like the Burritodilla, a mashup of a burrito and quesadilla, and the Chiwawa, a lightly fried, panko-crusted cheesy rice ball topped with melted cheese and your choice of proteins and toppings. Looking to feed the family or planning for game day? They have you covered with group options featuring burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and even wings, each box designed to serve four to six people.
Call Your Mother Deli
Open daily from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, Call Your Mother opened this past fall in the Annapolis Harbour Center. Start by choosing from nine bagels or two styles of bread, then pick from 17 different cream cheese and schmear spreads. The menu also features 12 protein options and 16 topping choices. Feeling overwhelmed by the possibilities? You can always opt for one of the 11 signature breakfast sandwiches or 13 lunch options.
Capo Deli
This authentic Italian-style restaurant recently opened its second Maryland location on Main Street near Dock Circle. Open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, it is a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying bite. The menu features more than 25 specialty subs, served hot or cold, all made fresh to order with locally sourced produce. Looking for something heartier? You can also enjoy classic Italian favorites like baked ziti, chicken parm, beef lasagna, and more. Be sure to save room for dessert and choose from nine sweet options to finish your meal. Capo also offers catering to meet a variety of group needs.
Timber Pizza Co.
Located on West Street in Annapolis, this quick-fire pizza spot has quickly become a local favorite, and for good reason. With both dine-in and carryout available, the menu features 10 signature pizzas. Prefer to build your own? You can customize your pie with more than 25 add-on options, made exactly to your liking. The restaurant is open from 4 to 9 PM Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 10 PM on Saturday, and 11:30 AM to 9 PM on Sunday.

Augie’s Mussel House & Sports Bar
Set to open sometime in 2026, this restaurant will be located in the Annapolis Town Center and will focus on Belgian-inspired fare. Based on its Virginia location, the menu is known for offering 11 bold flavors of mussels and clams. The Annapolis location is expected to follow a sports bar model, building on Augie’s beer garden roots and featuring more than 70 beers. Along with themed cocktails and beer flights, the menu will include wings, chili dogs, burgers, and a signature beer bucket, creating a classic game day atmosphere.
Positano Ristorante & Pizzeria
Opening in West Annapolis, this upscale Italian restaurant will take over the space formerly home to Agave (RIP). The menu will feature handcrafted pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Italian favorites. Set in a beautiful space, it is sure to become a go-to spot.
World of Beer
Breaking ground in the new year, this Annapolis location is set to open on January 12, 2026, on Generals Highway near the Annapolis Mall. With a focus on hosting events you and your friends will love every week, including live music, unique brewery tap takeovers, and themed trivia, World of Beer is poised to become a community gathering staple. The beer menu will feature more than 100 selections from around the world, along with a constantly rotating lineup of local favorites.
