This coming Mother’s Day weekend get ready for the incredible fun-filled day of music, food and community at the Naptown Music Feast at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. Families will get to enjoy tasty eats from local quality food trucks combined with great live music performances and activities for all ages on the lush fields of our very own fairgrounds in Crownsville.
The independent concert promoters 24-7 Entertainment is bringing the concept of a large gathering of quality food trucks combined with great live music that they have successfully produced in Baltimore County – the popular Trifecta Food Truck & Music Festival held at Maryland State Fairgrounds to our neck of the woods. Paul Manna, owner of 24-7 Entertainment says, “We’re often asked to have a spring festival like Trifecta, so here we are. Our goal has always been to throw a big party where the entire family can enjoy and we’re excited to bring the party to Anne Arundel County”. It is no accident that this event will take place on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 11th. This family-friendly event is promising moms a fun-filled day out, even making sure the little ones have fun with activities like mechanical bull riding, a rock-climbing wall, bounce houses, and face painting. Best of all kiddos 12 and under can attend FREE!
It’s no wonder that this special occasion is called a Feast. Festival goers can also expect a wide variety of savory and sweet options, including barbecue, seafood, burgers, vegan options, Greek food, cupcakes, ice cream, and more from 20-plus of Maryland’s favorite independently owned food trucks including local favorites, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Greek on The Street, Wanna Pizza This, Taco Bar, Quinn’s Ice, Jeno’s Steaks and more. Attendees can also browse goods from 40-plus local artisans and vendors, check out cool clothes in several fashion trucks, and even try their hand at axe throwing.
Of course, this wouldn’t be a party without the incredible live performances coming to treat your ears with a kaleidoscope of tunes. Some of the musicians featured are the 2024 Maryland Music Award winners Petty Coat Junction, the area’s best Tom Petty tribute band, local female fronted Annapolis sensation Sweet Leda, and many other great acts including the smooth rock sounds of the 70s/early 80s from The Regal Beagles Yacht Rock Band, Parrot heads Sons of Pirates & the Big Buffett Beach Band, extraordinaire roots rock reggae band Jah Works and Priddy Music Academy Band, Midnight Madnezz.
