The Maryland State Fair is a can’t-miss event for families, running over three weekends from August 22 to September 8. This year’s fair is packed with activities for all ages, making it the perfect family outing.
As always you’ll experience the many carnival rides, which include everything from the classic Ferris Wheel to the Rip Tide Roller Coaster, great food, and live entertainment. This year’s highlights include a headline performance by Big Time Rush, a Live Band Experience Celebrating Taylor Swift, and College Nights!
Big Time Rush will take the High’s Main Stage on Saturday, September 7 at 7:15 pm. Their opening act, Crash Adams, will begin his set at 6:00 pm. Gates open at 5:00 pm. Let’s Sing Taylor will take place on Friday, September 6 at 7:00 pm. The show will consist of various covers of Taylor Swift songs and invites “Swifties to sing their hearts out and sport their Taylor-inspired attire and friendship bracelets.” Gates open at 6:00 pm.
Concertgoers may bring their own blankets and chairs. Concert tickets must be purchased for these shows and include admission to the Fair.
Have a kid in college looking for some wholesome fun? College students enjoy half-off admission and $26 unlimited ride wristbands every Thursday of the Fair with a valid student college ID! To redeem the discount, students must have their college ID ready at the gate when entering the fair.
