As you change your perspective about the current situation, you’ll spend less energy on unhealthy patterns and more energy on the new course your life wants to take. From that place, a new sense of freedom and self-love will emerge.

Do you feel enslaved to circumstances, situations, and relationships that are out of your control? Do you feel obligated to be a support, savior, or healer for others? Remember, there is a big difference between providing a healthy amount of support to someone you care for and overextending yourself due to misplaced guilt, shame, or low self-esteem. 

No matter how small or overwhelmingly dramatic the events around you appear to be, know that you will soon experience a new phase of empowerment. Mother Nature offers you the wisdom of the owl – the ability to hear what is not spoken and see what is hidden in the darkness. Trust what you feel not just what you see. 

This oracle is a reminder that you are capable of overcoming the pressure, assumptions, expectations, and manipulations you may be facing from others or feeding yourself. You can see the truth, outsmart old patterns, and respond creatively to craft new and improved relationships. 

Affirmation: 

It is okay to ask for what I want and to put myself first. I cannot pour out of an empty cup. I will create room for me to self-care. I allow myself to be bold and to take up space. I see my courage and strength with the work I am already doing. I am human and I am evolving. I am the architect of my own destiny and I build it with growth in mind.
