Key events include the Bay Bridge Boat Show at Safe Harbor Narrows Point from April 11–13, the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show at City Dock from April 25–27, and the fall Annapolis Powerboat and Sailboat Shows in October.

4. Dylan Behler Vying for Appointment to District 30-A Delegate Seat
Following Shaneka Henson’s appointment to the Maryland Senate, a vacancy has emerged in the House of Delegates for District 30A. Dylan Behler, a community advocate and former Chief of Staff for State Senator Sarah Elfreth, has announced his intention to apply to fill the seat. The Anne Arundel County Democratic Central Committee will select a successor from registered Democrats who submit their applications.
5. Move Over Wawa, Sheetz is Coming to Anne Arundel
Sheetz, the popular convenience store and gas station chain, is opening its first Anne Arundel County location at 1441 West Nursery Road in Linthicum. Known for its made-to-order (MTO) sandwiches and salads, Sheetz is currently hiring for the new store. The official opening date has not been announced.
