1. Police Searching For Man Who Pulled Gun At City Dock
Annapolis Police are searching for a man seen brandishing a firearm at City Dock. The incident occurred on November 4, when the man allegedly pointed a gun at two unleashed pit bulls that approached him and his dog aggressively, as well as at the dogs’ handlers. Police arrived after the man had left and are reviewing surveillance footage for leads.

2. Tatte Bakery & Café to Open at Town Center on November 13

Tatte Bakery & Café will open a new location at the Annapolis Town Center on November 13. Known for its artisan pastries and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, Tatte brings its unique menu and inviting atmosphere to the Annapolis community. This grand opening marks the café’s latest expansion and aims to offer locals and visitors alike a fresh dining experience with handcrafted food and beverages.

3. Four Local Students Charged in Salisbury Hate Crime
Four Anne Arundel County residents, along with eight others, face hate crime charges following an assault on a man targeted for his sexual orientation at a Salisbury residence. The suspects, aged 18 to 20, allegedly used a social media account to lure the victim and then physically attacked him while using derogatory language. Salisbury University, where all suspects are enrolled, condemned the act and is pursuing disciplinary measures.

4. The Annapolis City Dock Project Comes Under Fire with Lawsuit Challenging Approvals

The Annapolis Historic Preservation Commission’s approval of modifications to the City Dock Project is under judicial review following an appeal. The anonymous petitioner argues, among other things,  the Commission’s actions violated city ordinances and procedures for maintaining the historic integrity of the site, potentially impacting future projects in Annapolis’ historic district.

The community supporter Youth Chorus of Annapolis is inviting local students to find their spotlight at an upcoming Open House on April 28th! 🎤✨ Whether a child has been singing since they could talk or is simply looking to try something new, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet the directors, participate in fun musical activities, and experience the joy of singing in harmony. 🌟

🕒 Open House Schedule:
🟡 Training (Grades 1–4): 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🔴 Treble (Grades 5–7): 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
⚫ Chambers (Grades 8–12): 7:15 PM – 8:30 PM
