1.  Woman Shot to Death in Safeway Parking Lot

Annapolis Police were investigating a fatal shooting at the Safeway on Forest Drive, where a woman was found shot inside her vehicle in the parking lot. The victim, 55-year-old Allison Faye McIntyre, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities arrested a 49-year-old female suspect the following day. Police believe the individuals knew each other, ruling out a random attack.

2. Early Morning Drug Raid Targets Several Annapolis Neighborhoods

A major drug and gun trafficking raid targeted multiple neighborhoods in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, and Baltimore City. Law enforcement, including SWAT teams, executed 18 court-authorized searches, leading to 14 arrests. The investigation remains ongoing with more details expected to emerge.

3. State Trooper Strikes and Kills Pedestrian

Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash involving a state trooper operating an unmarked patrol car, in Annapolis. The victim was struck while walking along a highway at night near Route 50 and Solomons Island Road. According to the State Police, the victim stepped into the roadway unexpectedly. Authorities are reviewing dashcam footage, and further details about the incident are pending.
