See and experience while learning Capoeira Angola with Contramestre BabaJan from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Capoeira Angola is an Afro-Brazilian tradition that includes music, movement, and community. You will see a small capoeira game, experience a demonstration of the traditional music, and learn how to do a few basic movements as well as play the instruments.
The Magic of Capoeira Angola with Contramestre BabaJan will take place at the Busch Annapolis Library.
This program requires the completion of a Release and Waiver form.
