Nature Explorers Club
December 11 @ 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm
FreeDon’t miss the Nature Explorers Club! Our big world contains many small worlds. Get an up-close look at a piece of our planet by joining. Each month we’ll investigate an aspect of the ecosystem through presentations, conversations about environmental justice, active games, or hands-on activities. This month, educators from the Port of Baltimore will present a “Diamonds in the Sand” program. “What’s it like to study terrapins and terrapin nests as a scientist on Poplar Island? In this hands-on activity, students simulate diamondback terrapin nest research to learn how environmental restoration makes an impact on terrapins and to practice their research and critical thinking skills.”
The Nature Explorers Club will take place at the Busch Annapolis Library in the Campbell-Chambliss Community Meeting Room.
For ages 7-11. In order to participate, you’ll need to register here and sign this Animal Waiver Form.
