Nature Explorers Club
November 13 @ 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm
FreeDon’t miss the Nature Explorers Club! Our big world contains many small worlds. Get an up-close look at a piece of our planet by joining the Nature Explorers Club. Each month we’ll investigate an aspect of the ecosystem through presentations, conversations about environmental justice, active games, or hands-on activities. This month CoreShark H2O is back with Who Polluted the Chesapeake? This hands-on activity allows the audience to learn about how pollution is impacting the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. Key concepts will include land use, runoff, industrialization, and consumerism. Participants will witness the effects of pollution and learn how they can influence change in the watershed. The group will discuss what they can do better at school, work and/or at home to protect and preserve the environment. For ages 7-11.
Register here! This event will take place at the Busch Annapolis Library in the Campbell-Chambliss Community Meeting Room.
