Join Drew Shuptar-Rayvis, citizen of the Pocomoke Indian Nation, to honor the sacrifices and contributions of Algonkian peoples during the American Revolution.

Learn about Algonkian and Iroquoian material culture, trade, and daily life. Explore the difficult choices between patriotism, loyalty, and neutrality as Native communities struggled to protect their ways of life.

Analyze the destruction caused by the Sullivan Campaign and evaluate the lasting historical impact of Algonkian peoples on both the Patriots and Loyalists.

This event will take place at the Hogshead Trades Museum.
