Living History Weekend: Plain and Fancy Sewing

Plain sewing refers to making basic clothing and household items. Fancy sewing refers to expensive decorated clothing and the embroidery used for decoration on clothes and other items. Reenactors will be demonstrating both. How were linen, wool, cotton, and silk used?
