On September 29, several phenomenal women will be presented with the prestigious 29th Annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards at Maryland Hall.
Each year, the event is sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee of Annapolis. It recognizes women from various racial backgrounds. These women, like the late legendary icon Fannie Lou Hamer, have made a difference in the community.
