Diwali Diya Lamps STEM
October 28 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
FreeDiwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a holiday that is celebrated worldwide. It is observed by Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and some Buddhist communities. Diwali is a time of joy, gratitude, and hope, and it typically lasts for five days.
Join us to watch a short video about Diwali and then we will create a diya lamp paper circuit card. A diya is an oil lamp used during the holiday and it symbolizes the triumph of good and light over evil and darkness. This STEAM activity is best suited for elementary aged children. Homeschoolers welcome!
Register here! This activity will take play at Discoveries in the programming room.
