Daily Life for the Enslaved at Hammond-Harwood House
February 26 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Free – $15

Join Julie Rose and Joyce White for a special tour that focuses on what daily life at Hammond-Harwood House was like for the enslaved women and children in the early 19th century.
The tour will take you through the house showing the roles of the enslaved women and children. Mary and Matilda Matthews, Juliet, and Harry were all enslaved by the Loockermans. They were tasked with cooking, cleaning, childcare, gardening, and keeping the hearth fires burning.
