Barefoot: More Than a Trend

August 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
$25

Discover the numerous benefits of being barefoot and dive into the science, history, and philosophy behind barefoot training! During this 90-minute workshop, we will learn how to safely progress into barefoot conditioning as well as how it can positively impact our health, fitness, posture, technique, and mind.

The session will be presented and received in a Yin/Yang format. It will be half “lecture” and half “lab.” It will cover both science and anatomy, as well as metaphysics and energetics. We will focus on learning the theory and concepts, then actualizing them through application and practice.

Honey’s Harvest Farm is the perfect place to play barefoot and “ground.” This workshop is appropriate for individuals of all ages and levels, ranging from those with pain and/or dysfunction to athletes and high performers. The presentation and practical elements emphasize a holistic and open-minded approach to movement, biomechanics, performance, sensory awareness, nature, and the human experience as a whole.

Joshua Craddock holds dual degrees in Exercise Science and Sport Studies. He has been in the health and fitness industry teaching movement and mindfulness for 26 years.
