Easy-Peasy Dinners To-Go

September 25, 2025 by Sarah Amyot

Because Who Has Time to Cook Every Day?

Let’s be honest: some nights, pulling a homemade dinner together feels about as realistic as folding the fitted sheet properly. You start with good intentions—maybe even take the chicken out of the freezer—but by 6 p.m., everyone’s hungry, you’re running the kids between sports or after-school activities, and you’re two steps away from ordering DoorDash. The good news? Annapolis has you covered with family-style meals that make it look like you planned ahead—even when you didn’t. Here are some of the best spots to grab a wholesome, shareable dinner without dirtying a single pan.

Bella Italia Annapolis

Family-sized dinners for 2, 4, or 6
House Salad + Toasted Bread + Your Choice of Pasta
Highlights: Chicken Parmigiana dinner for 4 at $39.99 or Fettuccine Bolognese dinner for 4 at $36.99.

Bonus: These leftovers reheat beautifully for tomorrow’s lunch.

Chad’s BBQ

Family Meals
Option #1: Pulled Pork BBQ for 3–4, $32. One pound of smoky pulled pork, two sides, buns, and sauce.
Option #2: Chicken & Ribs for 5–6, $65. A whole grilled chicken,  a full rack of ribs, three sides, and cornbread.

P.S. The mac and cheese and pickle fries with ranch are two must-have sides.

Chipotle

Build-Your-Own-Chipotle Family Meal
THE hot trending item on social media right now. Rice, beans, salsa, guacamole, queso, tortillas, chips, and your choice of protein. It’s like hosting your own burrito bowl bar at home, but without the stress. Meal serves six and right now you can snag $10 off with code TRYBYOC (through October 21). Steak is the fan favorite! Pro tip: if cilantro tastes like soap to you, welcome to the club! You can order the rice without cilantro.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Family Meal Deals for 4–6
Salad + Entrée + Side + Dessert

Note: no side if you get a pasta dish

Highlights: Firebirds chicken pasta for $39.95 includes wood-grilled chicken, chile-spiced asiago cream sauce, penne pasta, bacon, and tomatoes, plus BLT salad and brownies or cheesecake.”

Uncle Julio’s

Family Meals for 4
Chips and Salsa + Guac or Queso + Entrée + Churros

Highlights: Enchilada family meal for $49.99 includes three beef, three cheese, and two chicken enchiladas.

BONUS: Fresh Market

“Little Big Meals” if you feel like doing a little cooking.
For $25, you can whip up a fresh and easy dinner for four. This week’s picks: Gourmet burgers that include the burger patties, buns, cheese, loaded baked potato salad or smokey mozzarella pasta salad, and corn-on-the-cob. Or you can select the chicken or shrimp sandwiches that include chicken cutlets or shrimp, buns, Ayoh! Sando Sauce, loaded baked potato salad or smokey mozzarella pasta salad, and a sandwich topper kit.

Reliable Favorites

If you just need a solid standby that always comes through, these spots are go-tos for Annapolis families:

  • Giolitti’s
  • Corner Café
  • CAVA
  • Honeygrow
  • Chopt
  • Capriotti’s
  • Jimmy John’s
  • Moby Dick
  • Mission BBQ
  • Quickway Hibachi

**The Bottom Line**

Between lasagna trays and DIY burrito bowls, Annapolis has plenty of ways to keep dinner wholesome, affordable, and entirely mess-free. So go ahead—give yourself grace, ditch the stove, recycle the meal-prep guilt, and let someone else do the cooking. You deserve it!
