This year’s revamped Earth Day celebration at Quiet Waters Park will return to its traditional location around the Blue Heron Center, formal gardens and the Visitor Center. Vendor exhibits, nature hikes, demonstrations, talks on a variety of topics, and more will provide something of interest for everyone. Food trucks will be onsite to satisfy your thirst and hunger and a special cleanup by kayak will be coordinated by Capital SUP. Now is the time to start looking through your closet and garage for those “Classy Clutter” items that you may want to donate to help raise funds for the Nature Center.
Please join Live Water Foundation and Capital SUP this Earth Day for various park clean-up tasks at Quiet Waters Park. It’s a great way to make a positive impact on the environment, and meet other like-minded volunteers. Come and help out at your favorite park.
Also, don’t miss out on the Classy Clutter Sale and an opportunity to help save lives at the Blood Drive.
