Family Fun at County River Days

Sunday, August 27

10 am – 2 pm

Get to know our rivers at the next Anne Arundel County River Day at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. This community event is fun for the whole family, featuring a cruise on Harness Creek to the South River on Watermark’s Miss Anne, tours of a fireboat, live music, face painting, games, crafts, exhibits from environmental organizations, storytime with Anne Arundel County Public Library and demos from area agencies. Food and drink available from food trucks. Kayaks and standup paddleboards are available to rent from Capital SUP.

Note: At press time boat rides are full (they fill up fast!) but you can join a waitlist at the check-in table. The next River Day is at Fort Smallwood on Sept. 23 and boat ride registration opens Sept. 7.

Time: 10 am – 2pm

Cost: Free

Location: Quiet Waters Park, 600 Quiet Waters Park Rd., Annapolis
