Join us at the Museum of Historic Annapolis on January 20 from 11 am to 3 pm to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice for all. Explore our exhibition Annapolis: An American Story to learn about the rich history of Black communities in Annapolis.
Participate in hands-on activities like crafting your own Freedom Bell and discovering the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Annapolis Activism special exhibit in the Community Gallery. Enjoy a moment of reflection in the Anne Arundel County Public Library Book Nook, featuring a curated selection of children’s books about Dr. King’s life and impact. Come be part of this powerful day of learning, reflection, and celebration!
Guided tours of the museum will be offered at 11:30 am and 2 pm.
