All Corvette Car Show
Have any car lovers in the family? If the answer is yes, Carriages on West Street will make a wonderful, fun summer outing! This Corvette Annapolis car show was created in order to honor the history of West Street. In the past, travelers would arrive in Maryland, unload their lives, and then venture through Main and West Street. From there, they went on to explore further away places, like D.C and Philadelphia. Since then, West Street has grown and evolved with Annapolis. However, it’s still used as, what Corvette Annapolis likes to call a “gateway from downtown Annapolis to the major highways of today.” Carriages on West Street hopes to show off the modern version of what those travelers were met with when they interacted with Annapolis for the first time.
Carriages on West Street will take place on August 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Multiple acknowledgements such as the Peoples’ Choice Awards, the Best in Show Award, the City of Annapolis Award, the Arc of Central Chesapeake Award, and over 32 more will be given out at 12:30 pm!
Come down to West Street and honor these ‘carriages’ to celebrate Annapolis and its rich history and traditions. Stan and Joe’s Saloon will be offering breakfast at a reduced rate, and all proceeds benefit The Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region. This is a rain or shine event, so make sure to check the weather before leaving the house!
