If a Sunday afternoon spent sipping wine, watching artists at work, listening to great music and enjoying delicious food sounds like a day well spent, then mark your calendars for the 3rd annual Art in the Park at Café Mezzanotte on Sunday, Oct. 1.
From 2 to 6 p.m., the courtyard and patio of Severna Park’s favorite fine Italian restaurant is transformed into an outdoor art festival, in partnership with the Severna Park Voice. Sweet Leda and Lower Case Blues provide the music and dozens of local art galleries and artists will have their creations on exhibit to peruse and purchase. You can also watch artists at work as several will set up easels in the space to translate the inspiring music into artwork. The event will be spread across indoor and outdoor spaces, with plenty of table seating, standing space and lawn seating available.
This year’s proceeds benefit The Providence Center. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
