10 Trunk-or-Treats Coming Up In The Annapolis Area

Just in case you need more candy…

Trunk-or-Treat events have become popular over the last few years and we couldn’t be happier. Not only do the kids start stocking up on candy, they have the added fun of browsing some whimsically-decorated trunks. 

If you thought all the best Halloween events were behind us, think again. Here are 10 Trunk-or-Treat events still to come this weekend (and a bonus on Halloween night!) Events are listed in order of date and time, so you can stack your candy opportunities most efficiently!:

1. Annapolis Recreation & Parks Trunk-or-Treat

Annapolis Recreations & Parks presents Trunk-or-Treat at Pip Moyer Recreation Center. The fun begins bright and early at 10 a.m. and features extras like arts & crafts, games, and even hayrides. 

Date: Saturday, October 28th (10 a.m.- 2 p.m.)

Location: 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, MD 21403

2. Howl-O-Ween Party, A.A. County Animal Care & Control

This free event is a trunk-or-treat and so much more! Come out to their Millersville location for a Family Halloween Party and meet adoptable animals. “Candy with a Cop” Trunk or Treat from 10 AM to noon, safe trick or treat trail, costume parade at 11:30 AM, educational demonstrations, and a raffle to benefit the animals.

Date: Saturday, October 28th (10 a.m.-1 p.m.)

Location: 411 Maxwell Frye Road, Millersville, MD 21108

3. Trunk-or-Treat Oktoberfest Party

St. Paul Lutheran Church of Annapolis is hosting a free Trunk-or-Treat so dress up and prepare for candy galore! This early-afternoon event is a perfect time for little ones. 

Date: Saturday, October 28th (11 a.m.- 1 p.m.)

Location: 31 Rowe Boulevard, Annapolis, MD 21401

4. Accessible Trunk-or-Treat

The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting an Accessible Trunk-or-Treat and all children are welcome to the free festivities. The event is accommodating to those with disabilities and features a low-sensory experience during the first hour. RSVP here. 

Date: October 28th (4 p.m.- 7 p.m.)

Location: Parking lot at 2009 Commerce Park Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401

5. Trunk-or-Treat & Chili Cook-off

Enjoy a tasty chili and cornbread potluck followed by trunk-or-treat in the parking lot. Prepare a fun costume and reserve your FREE spot. Sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Date: Saturday, October 28th (5:30 p.m.- 8 p.m.)

6. Weems Creek Trunk-or-Treat

This free trunk-or-treat event has a lot to offer, including food, games, moon bounces, and dune buggy rides! It’s like a mini festival that’s sure to add frightful fun to your weekend.

Date: Sunday, October 29th (2 p.m.- 5 p.m.)

Location: 600 North Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401

7. Mommy & Me Trunk-or-Treat

Head to Allen Pond Park in Bowie for 3 and a half hours of eerie entertainment. The event is first-come, first-serve but free tickets are recommended to help keep a headcount. Snag one here!

Date: Sunday, October 29th (2:30 p.m.- 6 p.m.)

Location: 3330 Northview Drive Bowie, MD 20716

8. Trunk-or-Treat at Heritage Baptist Church

Join the excitement at Heritage Baptist Church in Annapolis for a Trunk-or-Treat event. Along with delicious treats and decked-out trunks, there will also be fun activities throughout the event. 

Date: Sunday, October 29th (5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.)

Location: 1740 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401

9. Trunk or Treat at Keller Williams

Get some candy and do your good deed for the day at this event. Sponsored by The Bonk Team of Keller Williams, this event is collecting donations of canned goods for Harvest for the Hungry. The event is free and make sure to wear your costumes!

Date: Sunday, October 29th (5 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

10. BOO-E-WEEN at Prince George’s Stadium

Prepare to have a blast at BOO-E-WEEN, an event featuring trunk-or-treat and a costume contest. It’s free for all to attend, but children ages 3-17 who register a spot will also receive a goodie bag. 

Date: Tuesday, October 31st (5 p.m.- 8 p.m.)

Location: 4101 Crain Highway, Bowie, MD 20716
