The Cheez-it Lunch!

March 6, 2023 by Lisa Peri, MSW
Child stuffing cookies into their mouth

I’m the mom who will start the school year off by packing a healthy balanced lunch with sandwiches cut into fun shapes, carrot sticks and organic fruit, and of course, a homemade cookie and a note of loving encouragement. By March, I’m sending in a clementine and a baggie full of Cheez-its thrown into her backpack along with a half bottle of water I found on the floor of the car because she can’t find her Pottery Barn monogrammed reusable water bottle that she lost the second week of school.
